AI Usage
How AI usage is tracked.
Every plan includes an AI allowance. The free plan has enough to try things out; paid plans have enough for normal use. Check what's left anytime in Settings → Plan & Usage.
What draws from your allowance
Each kind of AI action has its own separate allowance. They don't share a pool.
- AI blocks: generating a block from an image.
- Chat turns: each reply in block chat. Generating a block from a prompt or from pasted code also runs on block chat, so it counts as a chat turn (not an AI block).
- Theme chat turns: a separate allowance for theme chat.
- Site generation and paste-HTML-to-blocks each have their own small allowance.
Creating an empty block costs nothing. Because the meters are separate, using up your chat turns doesn't touch your AI-block or theme-chat allowance.
Checking your usage
Settings → Plan & Usage shows a "used / included" meter for each action. Allowances reset on your billing cycle on paid plans, or on a rolling 30-day window on the free plan.
AI Limits
You may see one of these messages when using the AI features.
"Out of AI credits."
You've used this cycle's allowance for that action. The option is disabled until your allowance resets or you upgrade.
"Too many requests. Please wait a moment and try again."
A short-term rate limit to keep things stable. Wait a moment and retry.
"The AI didn't respond."
A single request timed out, usually a connection hiccup. Send it again.
